Who are we? We’re a family of three (with two dogs). We’re two citizens of Ireland (father and son) and one spouse. Where did the name “Hegartyfelds” come from? It’s a portmanteau of our names, “Hegarty” and “Rosenfeld,” which we’ve used since we were preparing for our wedding. We are our own people who will document the process of moving to Ireland in these tumultuous times; of our child getting accustomed to the school system there and the fun cultural; of the process of getting our dogs into the country; if there’s any way to get real hot dogs while we’re there.
